District Cooling Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:
Manage, oversee, and supervise all District Cooling network construction activities on site. Ensure daily supervision, inspections, and compliance with quality requirements and project specifications, reporting to the Network Projects Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare and follow up on construction programs and project schedules.
Analyze and review shop drawings, design drawings, method statements, and material specifications.
Track ongoing and pending submittals, review comments, and address differences and deficiencies.
Resolve on-site construction issues in coordination with involved parties.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with requirements.
Inspect materials for District Cooling network construction.
Review and evaluate third-party inspection reports.
Interact with team members and contractors to ensure smooth project operation and closure.
Arrange and attend progress and coordination meetings with contractors and stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
5 years of relevant work experience in major utility/infrastructure/plant construction in GCC

SKILLS:
Proficiency in English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thorough knowledge of standards and codes relevant to utilities (DC & PWC)
Familiarity with authority regulations
Computer literacy (AutoCAD and Microsoft Office)
