Job Purpose:
Dedicated to ensuring a safe working environment, our HSE Engineer will support and implement HSE programs, preparing procedures and guidelines across departments. Analyze HSE performance to uphold the highest safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:
Develop, review, and implement HSE policy and Integrated Management System.
Prepare and implement HSE Plan, Risk Assessment, TRA, JSA & HIRA.
Review documents with HSEM for risk-based procedures and method statements.
Track performance registrations and conduct analysis based on set KPIs.
Prepare legal registrations and update certificates.
Conduct regular inspections, ensuring on-the-spot corrections and eliminating unsafe conditions.
Support incident investigation process and maintain incident logs.
Support Training Need Analysis and provide induction and refresher training.
Conduct pre-job safety meetings with subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a Science discipline
Current relevant HSE qualification (NEBOSH Diploma/BSC Level 6 or equivalent)
Graduate level equivalency in Institutes of Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., GradIOSH, ASP etc.)
Lead Auditor ISO45001/14001/9001
Qatar driving license preferred

Minimum Experience:
5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and industry in GCC

Job-Specific Skills:
Proficiency in English
Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications
Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and industrial practices
Strong knowledge of relevant Quality Management Systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of the business value chain
