Department: Board of Directors. 

Industry: Oil and Gas/Utilities Energy Sector 

Key Accountabilities: 

The role involves developing and executing long-term audit plans, directing detailed audit assignments, overseeing the execution of audit engagements, hiring external support, reviewing procedures and records, and conducting follow-up audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The individual also reviews risk registers, resource requirements, and policies related to other departments. The goal is to ensure the company's policies and procedures are upheld. 

Minimum Qualification: 

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, certified public accountant, CA, ACCA, or CIA, or equivalent, with a preferred master's degree. Minimum Experience: The candidate should have 10 years of experience in corporate internal audit or public accounting, with prior experience in similar roles and industries in GCC, and Big4 experience preferred. 

Job-Specific Skills: The individual possesses excellent English proficiency, knowledge of audit standards, analytical and conceptual thinking skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and is highly integrity-focused. 

Salary : As per industry standards.
