JOB PURPOSE:
Contribute to project development, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery within engineering discipline parameters. Design, develop, install, manage, and maintain equipment for monitoring and controlling the DC plant. Provide technical expertise for effective, efficient, and safe system and process operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Implement day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
Oversee equipment functionality associated with DC plants.
Assist in designing plant-wide redundant automation and integration commissioning work.
Develop regular project-related reports to reflect work status and address deviations.
Ensure effective maintenance of project documentation in line with document control processes.
Lead software engineers in developing application software for PLCs & HMIs, ensuring standardization.
Responsible for SCADA integration and monitoring from electrical systems.
Provide support during the tendering phase, evaluating bidders in line with technical requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Communications, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field
Professional accreditation preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
5 years of relevant work experience in designing instrumentation and controls, preferably in systems integration or consulting engineering roles in GCC
Automation/Control Systems project engineering experience
SKILLS:
Proficiency in English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with industry practices, local regulations, specifications, international standards, and new technologies
Good knowledge of QA/QC processes in construction management
Computer literacy (AutoCAD and Microsoft Office)
